The situation you are inquiring about seems to be one where there is no pattern because 'Pattern Creation' has not been executed.

After drawing the pattern with [drawing] tools,

To use the pattern, you must create an outline using the [Create Pattern] tool in the [Pattern] tab.

1. Check if there is a gray area inside the CAD screen.

2. [View] tab - Turn on [Pattern Information Window] (List window on the left side of the CAD screen)

3. Check if there is a pattern name and list in the left list window.

*If it is different from the image below, there is no pattern in the current file.

Please check the above process, and if there is no pattern, please create a pattern by following the method below.

*Make a pattern*

1. Click the [Pattern] tab.

2. Click the [Create Pattern] icon. (Shortcut key: Keyboard X button)

3. Specify the outlines you want to make into a pattern by moving them clockwise (or counterclockwise) in the order they were attached.

4. When you specify the final outline, the area will appear in blue (or) green.

5. Click anywhere on the area and a dotted line will follow the pattern shape around the mouse cursor.

6. Click where you want to place the pattern.

*If the dialog option is turned on, 'Move' dialog pops up -> Ignore numbers -> Click 'Apply' button

7. The ‘Pattern Information Window’ will pop up.

8. Enter the pattern name and click the ‘Apply’ button.

9. After that, specify the outline with the [Edit Trim] function and enter the trim amount to create the trim.
