UTTU CADWe would like to inform you about the v.2.0 update.

(1) Added preview function to Windows Explorer and Load window

Windows Explorer Preview

① File – Open - *UTTU, *ubk

- You can view the selected file in the Open Pattern preview.

(However, previews are only available for files saved in v2.0.)

(2) Added a feature to register and use graded patterns.

<Register/Apply Rule Library>

① Grading Mode – Register in Rule Library – Select Pattern, Right-click – Apply

- Select the pattern to register and right-click, and the position of each grading point will appear as a number.

- Grading data is applied sequentially according to the order (number) of these numbers.

- When registering a rule library, if the size differs from the current working size (current window is size 5, registration is size 4), a notification pop-up window appears.

- If the size systems are different, change and save the pattern's grading information.

② Grading Mode – Apply Rule Library – Check Library List and Select Pattern – Select Option (Pattern/Point) and then select Pattern (Point).

- When loading the library, if it does not match the current size list, a pop-up window appears for confirmation.

Basically, the number of grading points must match for the library's data values to be accurately applied to the pattern.

- Even if the number of points differs, the position of each point in the library is automatically applied to match the corresponding point on the pattern.

- If you select the 'Point' option, you can also selectively apply grading values from specific points stored in the library to only the desired point(s).

(3) Added a function to create arc-shaped curves between lines

Rounded corners

① Draw – Rounded Corners – Select Line – Select Another Line – Enter Radius Value and Apply

- The endpoint (indicated in red) of the selected straight line/curve becomes the reference point.

- The direction of the reference point must be the same.

- Create rounded corners by entering the radius value.

(4) Added a function to fold the pattern based on two points on the outline or to unfold the pattern based on a straight line on the outline.

<Fold Pattern>

① Pattern – Fold – Select two points of the outline – Select continuous line to fold

- You can select an outline based on two selected points.

- The selected outline is folded inward.

② Pattern – Fold – Options: Remove inner lines – Select baseline to unfold – Select continuous lines to unfold

- Unfolds the folded line (Optional: when removing inner lines) by deleting the inner lines.

- Fold the line (Optional: If inner line is maintained) Maintain the inner line and unfold.

(5) Added a feature to take multiple photos using a webcam and create patterns (available for Pro or higher)

<DittoAuto>

① Special Functions –DittoAuto – Settings – Camera Settings

- DittoBefore running Auto, select the shooting camera in the settings.

- DittoTake a picture of the board and pattern using the photo button.

(You can conveniently shoot continuously with the configured device.)

- When you press the Apply button, only the pattern is automatically loaded onto the screen.

- You can capture and load patterns continuously.

(6) Allow length/distance measurement data to be displayed in text form and to be used for arithmetic operations.

<Length/Distance>

① Draw – Length – Select Line(s) – Right-click

- The length values of the selected line(s) are displayed on the canvas.

② Length/Distance - ‘+’ – Select Measurement 1 and 2 respectively – Right-click – Display Length Value

- Clicking the ‘+’ or ‘-’ values on the bottom displays the calculated value.

- Clicking ‘*’ or ‘/’ displays the multiplication/division value for individual numbers, such as ×2 (or /2), ×3 (or /3), etc.

- If you press delete while selected, all measurement values will be deleted.

(7) Pattern information modification

① Draw - Select (Filter: Pattern) – Select Pattern

- When a pattern is selected, it is displayed in the pattern information window.

- When you select a pattern in the pattern information window, the pattern selection line of the selected pattern is displayed as a dotted line.

- You can select multiple patterns with Shift and move their positions within the pattern information window.

- After selecting a pattern, you can instantly modify the name by simply entering text.

- After editing a name, pressing Enter allows you to immediately change the names in the list at the bottom consecutively.

(8) Added a feature to rotate the pattern to the center/default alignment.

<Center alignment>

① Pattern – Center Sequence (Option: Center Alignment)

- When centering the sequencing, the sequencing is displayed in the center of the pattern.

② Pattern – Cipher Center Alignment (Option: Default Alignment)

- The direction of the arrows for the sequencing displayed in the pattern is upward (default direction).

- When centering a downward separator pattern (optional default alignment), the separator is displayed in the center while the top and bottom of the pattern are swapped according to the separator's default direction.

(9) Improved so that you can move a certain distance using the arrow keys.

Direction keyboard

① Select – Point (Line) – Select Point – Move Right with Arrow Key – Move by the value entered in the grid

- After selecting a point/line/pattern, you can move it by the set length using the arrow keys.

- The setting length can be changed numerically in the grid filter.

(10) The types of symbols are added, and the setting values can be applied.

<Symbol>

① Drawing - Symbols – Wavy/Zigzag

- You can apply the width of the wavy line and zigzag.

② Drawing - Symbols – Button/Buttonhole

- The position of the button/buttonhole has been changed to the left.

- You can select and apply the button type.

③ Drawing – Symbols – Diagonal Stitch

Diagonal stitch (leather stitch) has been added to the symbol menu.

- When the center line is included, diagonal stitches are displayed along with the center line.

(11) Improved to activate the previously used tool when pressing the Space Bar

<Space Bar>

① Rectangle – Edit – Space bar

- The previous step's task is executed when the Space bar is pressed.

(12) The shortcut key is changed from one key to two keys.

- The shortcut has been changed to be entered using two keys.

- When a single digit is entered, it is displayed at the bottom, and when two digits are entered, it is executed.

- A window has been added to check applied shortcuts.
