I recently started studying and am finding this very useful. I might have missed a feature, but in the 1.3v tutorial videos, the pattern's internal lines are displayed immediately when creating a pattern; however, when I currently use 2.0v, only the pattern's outline is generated. Of course, I proceeded with the "Remove lines used in pattern" function disabled and "Internal Lines" enabled in the View tool. Is there a way to include the internal lines immediately when tracing the pattern outline using the pattern creation tool?

There are some differences in the pattern creation method between V1.3 and V2.0.

Create Pattern → (Option) After selecting Automatic,

If you drag the desired area, a pattern is automatically generated, including internal lines.

Please refer to the manual below and try creating the pattern again.
